Regional Sales Manager, France

The client

Datacenter People has been engaged by the world leader in manufacturing liquid leak detection systems for data center and other mission critical applications.

What the job involves 5 responsibilities

• You will be selling market leading technology to a well-established construction industry.
• This is a business development role where you will be responsible for initiating direct sales of our products.
• Deals can range from £10k up to £500k, with varying levels of complexity depending on size.
• You will participate, coordinate and/or organize business events to increase our visibility and strengthen commercial leads.
• The role is primarily London based however travel around the UK from time to time will be required.

We are looking for someone with

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a direct sales role as a minimum requirement
• Prior successful experience in sales / business development role and be identified in the data center environment.
• Good technical background.
• Be comfortable in proposing and closing professional deals up to £500k.
• Be comfortable in both a technical dialogue with end-users, consultants/design offices and contractors (understanding the customers’ infrastructure and technical objectives) as well as a business dialogue.
• Be target driven with drive and ambition to over exceed expectation.
